Hypnosis For Rock Solid Inner-Game

If you’re like every other athlete on the planet, you’re always looking for ways to get the edge over the competition.

In order to squeeze out the competition, there’s a few things you must do that ironically have nothing to do with “the competition.”

You see, the secret to consistently rising to the peak of your abilities, expanding your performance to levels not yet experienced, and blowing the competition away is to focus on YOURSELF.

Now, when I say you have to focus on yourself, I don’t mean that you should obsess over every play, try to be perfect or forget about the competition entirely. I mean that you have look inside yourself. You have to first understand how your mind, body and emotions work together and then use this understanding to harness the amazing talents and abilities that you already have inside you.

It’s about finding the right key to “unlock” these talents and abilities that will work every time.

Some people call this getting in the zone, some call it a flow state and still others can’t find the words to describe it. These are those precious moments when your thoughts seem to fade away and your mind becomes calm while your body becomes amazingly powerful and responsive, yet relaxed at the same time. It’s a state of effortless, flowing ability.

If you’ve experienced this state before, you know how exceptional it really is. In the past you may have accidentally dropped into this state without knowing how or why you got there.

So, how does hypnosis fit into all of this?

Hypnosis is the art and science of communicating consciously with your unconscious mind. That is, it’s how to speak to the part of you that makes all the decisions.

By using self-hypnosis, it is possible to set up a powerful response in your body and mind that will allow you to experience any peak state whenever you want. The technique that you can use to do this is called “anchoring.” It’s a simple technique, yet amazingly effective.

I’ve seen variations of this technique in many places. Some marathon runners use this technique to trigger the “runner’s high”, Tiger Woods uses this technique right before he makes a long drive or a putt and Micheal Jordan uses this technique before he takes a shot at the net.

Hypnosis also works very well for overcoming anxiety caused by bad performances and reversing the “downward spiral” some athletes experience as a result of negative thoughts and emotions.

To achieve amazing success in your sport, you have to learn to communicate with your unconscious mind, you have to harness the power of your emotions to work for you in achieving your goals and you must enjoy yourself in the process.
